Two provider-independent public hubs bootstrap new nodes, index wallets and expose read-only chain data. Native swap offers now travel over the established Komodo DeFi public network. From there, ordinary nodes learn and exchange peers directly.

HOW A NEW NODE SYNCS

Seeds introduce. Peers replicate.

A fresh node contacts public seed addresses, receives peer addresses and begins header and block synchronization. Once it has peers, it is not downloading “the blockchain website”. It is validating and exchanging chain data with the network.

Outbound-only nodes are healthy participants and require no port forward. A reachable TCP 57555 listener additionally helps other nodes sync. Never expose wallet RPC, the app interface or Stratum just to advertise the blockchain.

Updated 5tratSmack nodes join the established Komodo DeFi peer network for offer discovery and atomic-swap negotiation. 5TRAT and DGB remain native assets on their own blockchains. The public network carries orders and swap messages, not custody.
